Waterfawn’s aquatic appearance comes from a microscopic membrane that covers the water stored in its tail. During conflict, the creature can shed this membrane instantly to fuel water-based attacks. Waterfawn’s body is over ninety percent water, so it must stay close to fresh water at all times otherwise its strength degrades.
