Moonshine Artist Spotlight: Michael Isaak

Rendered in pen, charcoal, and gouache, Michael Isaak's expressive travel sketches truly capture the eeriness of Cambodia's ancient temples. Fun fact--Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat are actually located within one kilometer of each other (thanks, Wikipedia!). I'm loving how the spindly, untamed roots just emerge from and spill into the ruins.



Michael served as an art director for Monsters vs. Aliens, was responsible for the visual development of Bee Movie, and was a layout artist for Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, The Road to El Dorado, Bartok the Magnificent, and Anastasia.
