We're cranking out even more Moonshine Artist Spotlights to lead you into the closing reception/book signing on Friday, September 3rd. Today, we're highlighting Nathan Fowkes' impressive body of work. Nathan has served as a background artist on films, such as The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, How to Train Your Dragon, and Shrek Forever After.



Nathan has immersed himself in a variety of media, from charcoal to acrylic to digital, oftentimes revealing his artistic processes on his blog. His charcoal sketches in particular have a lovely, ethereal Gibson Girl quality to them. Be sure to check them out in person before the Moonshine exhibit ends on September 6th!



And if you're ever looking to brush up on your figure drawing skills, Nathan also leads classes and workshops at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art.
