SYNOPSIS
The objective of this workshop: Design the shot is to give students a crash coarse in storyboarding live action commercials and film. This workshop is for intermediates, aspiring storyboard artists, and filmmakers of all genres. In this workshop, Day 1 will focus on what makes a successful storyboard shot, the language of storyboarding, & expectations and working conditions in the commercial environment. Day 2 will focus on film, how to work with directors, creating a dynamic shot, and working with pre-viz. Day 3 will focus on portfolio preparation, and the business aspects of being a professional storyboard artist, including rates, agents, and paperwork.

Lap tops are optional but not necessary for workshop.
