Signed Pinkgolin’s primary strength is the bark-like shell on its back. The creature can thoroughly flatten its body against a tree, entrenching itself inside using its claws. Its attacks often involve it landing on an opposing creature, bark-side down, from great heights. Pinkgolin feed on ripe pinecones once they fall to the forest floor, which causes its bark to harden and darken, gradually covering the rest of its otherwise vulnerable body. If deprived of its food source, it does not evolve.
