Chelanoo hatch out of eggs uncannily reminiscent of seashells. Particularly rich in calcium, these hardened shells ensure the creature only hatches when it has reached full maturity. The shell itself is permanently bonded with the creature after they leave the beach and enter their ocean habitat. Never varying in appearance, it is impossible to gauge the creature’s age.
