Rare, unreliable sightings from remote regions of the earth contribute to the mythical status of Alpezgau. Originally believed to be a cryptid, Alpezgau is historically known as the “mother of gods” in local religion and folklore. An Alpezgau rises to lead unmanageably large flocks of Alpentan and Alpenex. It is said that an Alpezgau will offer a tuft of its fur to those it believes are strong enough to stand alongside it and guard its flock. It is not known how its evolution takes place.
