A timid creature at heart, Puug often utilises its carapace as a hiding place. This can occasionally lead to Puug being mistaken for a nut by other creatures. Luckily for Puug, its incredibly small stature allows it to quickly hide amongst the leaves on the forest floor. Highly intelligent, Puug work together to create dwellings that imitate the aesthetics of human houses.
