Michael Zulli is best known for his work on The Sandman with writer Neil Gaiman.  His work is characterized by detailed, painterly realism, and a hint of the Pre-Raphaelites.  He was nominated for the “Best Penciller/Inker” Eisner Award for “The Wake” in The Sandman.
