Welcome to our newest blog, dedicated solely to all things Middle Earth, specifically Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.

There are some stories that are good and then there are stories that are so epic, it helped to inspire some of the greatest works of all time while shaping a genre that had never been explored before.

Over the last 60 years, we've seen so much wonderful artwork emerge from the world of Tolkien.  This blog hopes to be a platform for those visions as well as new concepts that further builds upon that world while paying homage through illustration to the epic tale that has touched the imaginations of so many readers.

On a weekly basis, we hope to post new and original illustrations by fans around the world. In conjunction to the release of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, we will also curate a physical exhibition of the art that will be collected on this site. It will be a festive event no doubt filled with food, drink, games, and of course art to be held with in the walls of Gallery Nucleus. So please check back often as we will announce giveaways, competitions and other fun surprises.

If you feel you have some work that is appropriate for this blog. Please feel free to submit it to us. However, please note that all submitted work will be posted and not all posted work will be in the final physical exhibition.
