You Byun
Artist You Byun was born in Queens, New York, grew up in Japan and Korea, and moved back to New York to be a visual artist. Byun has been recognized by the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, receiving both Grand Prize and the Tomie DePaola Illustrator Awards. She takes on editorial assignments, gallery pieces, books, and stationery cards. Currently, Byun is working on her first children's book Dream Friends with Penguin Books.
